Presidents' Graduate Scholarship

Regulations Governing the Granting of the Presidents' Graduate Scholarship

Applicants for this scholarship must be:

• Teachers and members of the Jamaica Teachers' Association
   
• Pursuing an accredited Masters or Doctoral programme at:
  • University of the West Indies (UWI)
     
  • University of Technology (UTech)
     
  • Northern Caribbean University (NCU)
     
  • Any other accredited university during the academic year 2014 - 2015

Applicants must not be the recipient of any other award.

Upon completing the course, recipients of the scholarship must continue to teacher for at least three (3) academic years.

Where a recipient fails to comply with the above, this recipient will have breached the scholarship agreement and will be expected to refund the Association the entire amount granted for scholarship.

Two (2) scholarships will be awarded each year.
